Picknick-Tasche
Auf den letzten Drücker gibt es hier noch meine Sommertasche zu sehen, denn das war im Juli bei greenfietsen das Thema.
Verwendet habe ich Wachstuch und Fleecedecke vom Möbelschweden sowie Gurtband und Kam Snaps.

Die Idee, die Picknickdecke nicht nur zusätzlich mitzunehmen sondern gleich als Tasche zu verwenden, finde ich klasse! Das merk ich mir und werde die nächste Picknickdecke gleich so anlegen. Toll! Liebe Grüße, Gabi

die sieht toll aus, deine picknickdecken-tasche. tatsächlich habe ich in meiner nähanfängerinnen-zeit auch mal so eine genäht -auch mit wachstuch und fleecedecke von ikea, allerdings in rund. das ist eher unpraktisch. und zu klein.
hier hab ich sie gezeigt:
und auch wenn die gute mich nun schon bei so manchen urlauben und ausflügen begleitet hat und dort (im rahmen ihrer möglichkeiten) gute dienste geleistet hat (so wurde sie auch schon - dank der anarchistisch gesetzten kam snaps - als cape-ersatz bei regen/kälte getragen), überlege ich nun doch noch einmal eine in deinem stil zu nähen - diese erscheint mir doch um einiges praktischer.

Während Du die Sitzfunktion von EVENaBAG benutzt, können Deine Sachen natürlich in der Tasche bleiben. Zerbrechliche Gegenstände sollten sich jedoch nicht in der Tasche befinden, wenn Du die Sitzfunktion benutzt.
Mit dem inneren Taschendeckel kannst Du EVENaBAG auch in der Sitzfunktion verschließen. Im alltäglichen Gebrauch der Tasche, kann der innere Taschendeckel einfach im hinterem Taschenfach verstaut werden.
Der integrierte Sitz ist nur zum Sitzen geeignet. Die Maximal Gewichtsbelastung beträgt 112kg.
Das aufhängebares Reisenecessaire ist kein Sitz und nur zum Ablegen kleinerer Gegenstände geeignet. Die maximale Gewichtsvelastung beträgt 5kg.
Wir verwenden sogenannte Vintage-Leder, deren Oberflächenbeschaffenheit sich stets verändern und Alterungsspuren aufweisen können. Narben, Kratzer und unterschiedliche Farbnuancen sind normal und können von Produkt zu Produkt variieren.
Das praktische 3 Punkt Gurtsystem mit Schulterpolster funktionioniert am besten unter Belastung, also wenn Du die Tasche umhängen hast! Durch ziehen an den den beiden Gurtringen, kannst Du die gewünschte Länge des Schultergurtes einstellen. Das übrstehende Gurtende kann an der Gurtspange fixiert werden.

Yield Picnic Bag by Yield Design
Upon launching the Yield Picnic Bag which unzips from bag to picnic blanket, we designed a collection of aspirational branding elements alongside it, dreaming of the ‘beautiful days [that] lie ahead’. We all too often encounter the common scenario of bags sloppily piled upon one another in a retail setting, so we gave our bags a home.
We fell in love with the cylindrical shape as it hints towards the packaging in a grocer’s market — an appropriate reference towards the picnic setting. Incorporating a functionality post-purchase was also important to us, so the proportions were designed to allow the package to later double as a wine case once the bag is in use.

Why we need you!
The design of our product does not end in its physical form. The manufacturing logistics are extremely central to the integrity of the product, which is why we insisted on a thorough sourcing process. We were fortunate enough to find a great US manufacturer with an office here in San Francisco and a final production facility in El Paso, TX.
Yield Design Co is a San Francisco based design studio co-founded by Rachel Gant and Andrew Deming. Both grew up in the Carolinas and met while studying at CCA in San Francisco.
Rachel is an Industrial Designer with a background in Architecture. Her experience in seeing multiple products through from design to manufacturing allows her to ensures that our designs meet manufacturing in way that harmonizes efficiency and detail while maintaining the integrity the product's original intent.
Andrew is a Design Strategist with a background in visual design & branding. Prior to starting Yield, he worked as a designer/strategist at fuseproject and recently completed a Design MBA.
Our studio manifested as a reaction to loving what you do; Yield products encourage moments of celebration throughout daily routine.
The Picnic Bag will be our very first project to launch under the Yield brand. We have done nearly everything you see here--Andrew is responsible for art direction + business strategy while Rachel manages product design + manufacturing.

Andrew's background in Design Strategy harnesses us with the skills and foresight to precede challenges, consult the experts, and self-sustain our endeavors. A self-sustaining, small business would ensure that in the LONG run, we can control more of those challenges rather than outsource. By curating our ideas carefully, we offer quality over quantity and scale gracefully alongside our business.
