Picknickbank Frankfurt – Moroccan city break

Picknickbank is one of these places you go to for a meetup with a friend after a busy day at work. It categorizes itself as “Imbiss”, which could be translated to snack bar. I guess this is the reason they call it Picknickbank. They serve snacks, tapas, tajine & more on their little street-side terrace. The Moroccan tea is lovely, but very sweet indeed.

It is situated right in the city, close to the shops and probably work for most Frankfurters. If you manage to grab a seat by the window you can observe the people passing by.

I just had a nice dinner with a very good friend and decided I must move Marrakesh to the top of my travel list.

Picknick Cafe was previously known as Picknick Vegan and is technically one of the few vegan local restaurants not yet frequented by this group (the others are Green Foody and Aroma Falafel). Located (and expanded) inside the former Veganz store, Picknick Cafe offers vegan sandwiches, burgers, salads, cakes and more. There doesn't seem to be any info about it yet online, it's that new. However, you can read about their menu options from their days as "Picknick Vegan" and assume that it is similar.

es ist juni, es ist sommer. ok, noch nicht kalendarisch gesehen, aber juni klingt schon mal richtig schön nach sommer :-)

hinter jeder hecke gibt es ein historisches gebäude, einen tempel, eine statue oder zumindest einen brunnen zu entdecken.

es war einfach ein schöner nachmittag mit ganz vielen "futtereien"!

sowieso war mein aufenthalt in wien ein wahres gaumen-erlebnis, wir waren glaube ich nur am essen und trinken ;-) auf dem "naschmarkt" haben wir uns leckere antipasti geholt und ein stückchen original "sacher-torte" im café sacher haben wir uns auch gegegönnt, obwohl wir uns zusammen mit den touristen in eine lange schlange stellen mussten, bis wir endlich rein durften! aber schön war´s trotzdem :-)

Wie mega cool! Wir haben letzte Woche an Annes Geburtstag auch ganz groß gepicknickt, mit der ganzen Familie - das war aber ein bisschen chaotischer und nicht ganz so idyllisch, haha :D liebste Grüße!

mmhh, da würde ich mich doch gerne auf die picknickdecke setzen und gemeinsam mit dir die köstlichkeiten genießen. sieht sehr lecker aus!

Das sieht wirklich zu süß aus! So richtig nach dem perfektem Sommerpicknick. So was möchte ich auch schon wirklich sehr lange mal machen.

Bei uns lässt der Sommer leider auf sich warten. :( es regnet die ganze Zeit nur :(

Ach, sieht das toll aus! Ich liebe Picknick! Wenn ich mir an Pfingsten trotz des angekündigt warmen Wetters raus"rollen" kann, wollen mein Mann und ich es uns am Rhein auf einer Picknickdecke gemültich machen. Ich glaube die eine oder andere Idee dazu "klaue" ich bei Dir :-)
