Disappointment
This grill had one flaw that prevents me from purchasing. Went to local ace hardware today to purchase, and learned that the tank sits on the ground. So the sale was lost. Since this item would be on a deck in the Northeast, movability is paramount during snow cleanup. I sincerely hope that Weber redesigns the tank area. Total disappointment as this was to be a birthday gift from the family.

The Weber Spirit line are highly rated. I initially bought the 310 from another store only to find the assembled item would not fir in my car. I also found the support to be wanting. Cancelling that one, I discovered the difference in grill size is two hamburger patties.

Best Grill I've Owned
I have owned 3 propane grills previously including a Charbroil and a newer Ducane, not the older more durable ones. I was concerned about two main features when evaluating grills this go around: evenness of heat on grill surface and durability of the cook box.
None of my prior grills compare to the evenness of the heat on this grill. I was worried about evenness of heat since you cannot really test this at the store. In grilling a dozen times or so I do not find any hot/cold spots on the grill grates. This allows me to maximize my space and grill as much food as I could on my old 3 burner grill where I had to place food in strategic places for hot/cold spot. No more reorganizing food every time I flip it to get even levels of doneness.
As for durability, the Weber is the only brand that I could find in the sub $1,000 price range with a cast aluminum cook box. Trust me, invest in this if you want a grill to last more than 7 years. Each of my previous grills have failed due to rusting out the sheet metal cook box. That is why the cast aluminum cook box is vital to the durability. We all know in 5-7 years you are going to replace the burners and flavor bars etc. if you want to keep the grill operating well. But the cook box is not something you can or want to replace due to cost and size. If the cook box fails, you are buying a whole new grill. As a final thought, at least when a burner or grill grate fails with a Weber you can always find a replacement. Not so much with a Charbroil or most other brands.

I love my little Weber!
I've just down-sized from a house with a built-in grill - which I never used. Too big, too hard to clean, too inconvenient from the kitchen. This little grill sits right outside my kitchen door, starts right up when I want it, heats quickly and does a super job. My son and I put it together in about an hour and were impressed by how well engineered it was - pieces fit exactly as they were supposed to, all the parts were there and clearly labeled, instructions were clearly written. Everything worked (even the often-glitchy starter), and we've been using it almost nightly for two weeks now. It's just perfect, and I'm so glad I bought it!

Great small grill
I had bought a big grill which rotted out after only 5 years - it was not a Weber - so I decided to go back to a Weber and am extremely happy with this one. I no longer need a huge grill - but it is big enough to cook on for my family of 5 and also great to cook for only me. Best grill I've ever owned.
At just one month and a very rainy Spring I haven't had many opportunities to use my new Weber Grill. But so far it's turning out to be the best I've ever owned. Weber grills are not cheap but this product seems to deliver excellent performance and ease of use for the mony. The electronic spark lights instantly and pre-heat is rapid. Temperature recovery when the top is opened or food added is rapid. The built-in thermometer is a plus. Drop-down side tables of both sides will make winter storage easier. The built-in tank scale may be a bit difficult to load but at least provides propane supply information. Overall build quality seems quite good. My grill had been pre-assembled by my Ace Hardware so I am unable to comment easy of assembly. With a little care I think this product will provide years of service and I'm confident repair parts will be available if necessary.

Love this grill so far, cooks great. The only issue I have is that the standard propane tank sits directly on the deck/floor and the grill is on wheels, so the grill can't be moved with the tank underneath. Maybe I need a bigger tank, not sure. First time griller.

In the past few years, grill manufacturers have noticed that more and more people no longer have the luxury of a large yard. To address this growing need, most makers have introduced a small, 2-burner grill with fold down side tables so it will take up less space while still providing the owner with a full sized grill experience. Now, Weber has redesigned the Spirit E-210 with a front control panel and those fold down tables.

Guide Review - Weber Spirit E-210
Newly redesigned in 2013, the Weber Spirit line has followed the popular Genesis line and turned its control valves to the front, clearing the right side table of knobs.
This makes for a more standard grill but loses the one feature that truly made Weber Grills unique. The Spirit E-210 is the smallest and least expensive of all Weber full sized grills. Designed with fold down tables, this "little" grill is perfect for small spaces like balconies, where gas grills are legal.
Aside from the small footprint, this is a very basic 2-burner gas grill. It offers very little in the way of bells and whistles. The 2 burners generate 26,500 BTUs of heat under 360 square inches of porcelain-coated cast iron cooking grates. This is not a powerful grill and the preheat times are long. However, the grates hold a lot of heat and allow for good heat transfer. This grill will do a good job of grilling a steak or burgers. The temperature range is wide so low-temperature cooking is very good. The 2-burner design gives enough space to indirectly cook a whole chicken or a roast, but the capacity is limited. Of course, anyone looking to buy a grill this size isn't looking for a large cooking area.
The construction is good. Weber abandoned higher quality stainless steel in favor of price control, so this doesn't have the durability of Weber's of the past, but it is still a well-made grill. The majority of the body is enameled steel, something Weber is very good at and I would recommend this black grill over the more expensive stainless steel body paneled Spirit S-210.

- If you can wait a little longer, return the original item and once we’ve received it back to our warehouse in “Like New” condition, we’ll refund you for that purchase, then have you purchase the replacement on a new order and we’ll ship the replacement as soon as possible.
Custom made-to-order/special order items are made to your specifications. Due to the custom nature of made-to-order/special order items, all sales are final. Made-to-order/special order items defective due to manufacturing will be repaired/replaced as long as the claim is made within the warranty period offered by the manufacturer. Custom pieces damaged in shipping will still follow all steps for a freight claim as previously listed here. Where Form Meets Function
This basic-but-beautiful model has two stainless-steel burners and practical features like stainless-steel side tables that fold down when you aren’t using them.
The grill’s porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates combine the ease of porcelain enamel with the superior heat retention of cast iron. The grates require no seasoning and are easy to clean.
Providing plenty of space to grill up all those summertime–or year round–favorites, the unit offers a 26,500-BTU-per-hour input, and its total capacity consists of 450 square inches of cooking space (a 360-square-inch primary cooking area and a 90-square-inch warming rack).
The grill also provides porcelain-enameled Flavorizer bars, a center-mounted thermometer, an enclosed cart, and a porcelain-enameled shroud, which means no fading, peeling, or rusting to worry about. Other highlights include six tool hooks, two heavy-duty front-locking casters, and two heavy-duty back swivel casters. Requiring a 20-pound LP tank (not included) to operate, the gas grill’s fuel gauge lets you know exactly where you stand on fuel at all times (LP only).

Cookbox and Shroud
The cookbox houses the components of the cooking system: cooking grates, burner tubes, Favorizer Bars, and the grease management system.
Made of cast aluminum, Weber’s gas-grill cookboxes are durable, efficient, require minimal care and maintenance, and can withstand the heat needed to grill at any temperature. In addition, the shape of the cookbox, when combined with the shroud, allows for the proper circulation of heat around food for even cooking whether you’re using direct or indirect heat.
Cooking Grates
Weber gas-grill cooking grates come in three exceptional materials: porcelain-enameled steel, stainless steel, and porcelain-enameled cast iron. Each type retains heat evenly and sears food beautifully. Porcelain-enameled steel cooking grates are durable and easy to clean. Stainless steel rod cooking grates make lovely sear marks, hold heat very well, and clean up with ease. Porcelain-enameled cast-iron cooking grates combine the ease of porcelain-enameled with the superior heat retention of cast iron–no need to season and easy to clean.
Burner Tubes
Weber’s burners are made of high-grade stainless steel, which will stand up to the small amounts of water found in liquid propane and natural gas. The burner tubes are made of a singular piece of steel with no welds, making them stronger and more resistant to rust and burn-through. And while they are protected from grease drippings and food by the Flavorizer bars, Weber cart gas grill burner tubes can be cleaned easily by gently brushing with a Weber stainless-steel grill brush.
Controls for each burner give you the ability to grill by the direct or indirect method. Even more, the burners are spaced to provide heat across the entire cooking grate, and the burner valves have infinite control settings, so you can fine-tune the heat levels.
Flavorizer Bars
The innovative Flavorizer bar system, originally created by Weber, is designed perfectly to perform a variety of functions on the Spirit , Genesis, and Summit gas grills. Angled just right, the Flavorizer bars catch drippings that smoke and sizzle, adding flavor to your food. Any drippings not vaporized by the Flavorizer bars follow the slope of their unique angle and are funneled away from the burner tubes, down into the grease management system. Not only does this help prevent flare-ups inside your grill, but it also protects the burner tubes from becoming clogged.
Made of either porcelain enamel or stainless steel, Flavorizer bars are durable, long lasting, and easy to care for. Periodically brushing them clean with a Weber stainless-steel grill brush will help keep Flavorizer bars performing at their best.
Grease Management
When juices drip off the meat, they funnel down to the Flavorizer bars, and then what doesn’t vaporize into wonderful smoke goes down into the grease management system. The grease management system consists of an angled grease tray and catch pan. The grease tray rests beneath the cookbox a safe distance from the burner tubes to prevent the grease from catching fire. Grease is channeled down the grease tray and into the catch pan. Both the grease tray and catch pan are easy to clean. The tray easily slides out of the cabinet for cleaning, and when the catch pan starts to fill, simply remove the disposable drip pan, toss it in the trash, and replace it with an empty pan.

Weber Genesis gas grills are among the most popular grills in the world. The Genesis II series offers well-built gas grills at an affordable price point. I love that these grills are available in several colors to fit anyone's taste, and are available in 2,3,4, or 6 burners models. The grill features an open cart design with bottom shelf that makes access to storage easy. The Genesis II also saves you valuable storage space with its propane tank storage area, located under the right side shelf, which allows you to connect and mount your propane tank underneath the side shelf. The tank mount features a handy gauge which allows you to monitor your fuel level.
The tried and true Weber Cooking System is great at providing even heat distribution and minimizing flare ups. The Genesis II features porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grids that have notches cut out towards the front, allowing you to easily see whether each burner is lit. The grill also has a tuck-away warming rack, providing you with an additional 198-inches of cooking space when you need it. Under the grids lies the triangular-shaped Flavorizer Bars that sit directly above the burners. These shield the burners by catching drippings and turning them into smoke, adding flavor back into your food. Weber pioneered the Flavorizer Bar in 1984, and since then they've proven to do their job extremely well, which is why they're still preventing flare-ups on all Weber gas grills today!
The Genesis II is powered by stainless steel burners that get narrower towards the back of the grill. Since most grills get hotter towards the back side of the grill, this reduces that heat, producing a more consistent heat across the cooking surface. The burners are lit by a reliable push button electronic ignition and produce around 12,000 BTUs per burner.
With over 50 years in business, Weber customer service is as good as it gets. They have a 10 year warranty on the grill body and on the burners. They have reputable service and quickly handle any service or replacement part situations.
The Weber Genesis II does not score well for high heat due to a low maximum BTU output, when compared to other grills in the same class. Additionally, the porcelain-coated grates and Flavorizer Bars are not as durable compared to stainless components found on other grills, like the Genesis II Special Edition or the Genesis II LX.

Weber Spirit E-210 vs E-310 Review for 2017
This Weber Spirit grill (numerically spelled out as the Weber 46110001) is much more economical than say, a Genesis when you don't plan on feeding a family the size of the Brady Bunch. 2-3 folks is more like it. Of course, this will vary with the average amount of food each person will be having.
(This is further reiterated by several commenters here regarding Home Depot using the mesh style for the door instead of the actual door.)
Considered their entry level class of gas grills, Weber’s Spirit Line was redesigned in 2013. The grill’s most significant alteration is how the burners are oriented. Weber finally caved in and incorporated what almost all other market grills feature- parallel burners and control knobs mounted on the side table. The 2-burner is usually 1/5 of the price cheaper.
Compared to the previous versions of the Spirit, the 2013 batch has newly added front knobs and stainless shelves that give it a nicer aesthetic.
The cast iron cooking grates are the least expected, which is seen in Weber grills topping out over 120 pounds. The 550 degrees the E-210 can reach isn’t much different than the E-310.
Differences
Compared to the Weber E-310, the E-210 has two steel burners instead of three, which is part of the reason it’s 100 bucks less. That, and the cooking area is 64 square inches more with the 46510001. Most of the time you won’t need that extra 5,500 BTU and cooking space.
What’s so good with the Spirits?
1.) The Flavorizer bars (unique to the Weber). These create a “flavorful” smoke from the drippings as the burners cook.
2.) Flare ups are a non issue with the Weber Spirit E-210 and E-310 (review found below).
3.) The assembly instructions have many steps to them, but they’re cleanly layed out and straightforward.
4.) Small footprint. For tighter spaces you’re working with, it’s a hair smaller at 50 inches wide.
Weber Spirit E-210 Review- Perhaps the Best Freestanding Gas Grill this Year
While the Weber Spirit E-210 was redesigned in 2013, satisfying the grill enthusiast who’s particularly working with little yard lot, it’s still giving a grilling experience within full sized proportions.
Highlight: fold down tables. Also included is a front control panel with construction of good quality, which mirrors the takeaway impression of the entire unit.
However, just like other grills in the newer Spirit line, Weber uses stainless steel of lower grades. The 430-series steel in the Spirit E-210 is accepted as being less resilient than higher end gas grills using 304-series steel in the burners. Yet compared to cast aluminum, the 430 steel in a Spirit E-210 is more resilient, with comparable properties of cast iron when it comes to heat retention.
The grill is small, doesn’t have all the extra features (smallest and most inexpensive of Weber’s line-up of full-sized offerings), so there’s a long preheat time. The knobs are no longer located on the right side table but on the front (a unique feature Weber is losing), with the control valves turned to the front (much influenced by the Genesis line).
While it isn’t a cheap grill by most people’s standards, this grills running price is reflected by Webers’ knowingly high reputation for service repair and part replacements if ever anything goes foul.
→Of the full sized grills by Weber, the Spirit E-210 is the most inexpensive and takes up the least amount of space.

1.) For one thing, an E-210 will lighten your wallet by this much. That’s a pretty penny when compared to many of the other barbecue two-burners you’ll see online and in stores, because there are ones you can get that are made poorly for at least $150. But get this: the ones cheaper than the E-210 simply won’t outlast it. They’re cheaply built and designed to get more grills sold at the least expensive MSRP possible. They won’t hold up for more than a few years. (Weber has bold confidence in their hardware’s quality of build that owners of them are provided with a warranty arguably better than any other sub-$500 grill.)
2.) Longer preheat times. Other reviews point out that it takes a bit for the grill to get hot enough- less wait than a charcoal, but probably a little more time than the average grills lit by gas. This is because the grill’s capability of BTUs is only 26,500. However, the actual BTU numbers measured from a gas grill is open to debate in terms of cooking. These grills mostly cook through convection, with the grate’s retention of heat and the burner’s flame outputting some heat that radiates. 3.) While the dome of the E-210 is mostly made from painted porcelain steel, it does have some cast aluminum-made end caps. At first this bummed me out a little, from a standpoint of build quality, but after digging deeper on the matter, I could tell that an increasing number of grills in the low to mid range are following the same trend. Overall it’s a non-issue, on the condition that the dome’s interior is designed well and airflow is allowed to make its way around the cooking grate and your meal. (Yes, it is.)

I noticed you references in your review that mentioned that the assembly instructions “have many steps to them, but they’re cleanly layed out and straightforward.”
When removing my grill from the box, I was unable to find the assembly instructions. I went to the Weber site and filled out the form on the “ask a question” page, but I was wondering if you had managed to find the assembly instructions online. If you had, would you be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks.
other than size what is the difference between the 210 and 310
the main difference is the extra burner you’re getting with the e-310 versus the two SS burners packed in the e-210. The E-310 has an additional 5,500BTU burner output and an additional 64 square inches for the primary cooking space. Here’s my two cents- two burners isn’t as good as having three. It’s harder to do a setup with 2-zones if you only have 2 burners.
I’d be curious to know what you end up deciding on!

This model has been discontinued. It is replaced by the Weber Spirit E-210 Black.
If you want a smaller, dependable grill then this is a great one. If you need more cooking space then you probably need a different grill. With two burners you don't get a lot of versatility when it comes to indirect grilling. Since this grill also has no extras, you will get a grill and nothing more, though a rotisserie kit is available.
While limited in size and function this grill is perfect for a small space and the person who really just needs to be able to grill up some chops or chicken pieces.

Guide Review - Weber Spirit E-210 Gas Grill
In the early days (the 1980's) of the Weber gas grill, the spirit line was their smallest and least expensive grill. With the 2007 model year, Weber as restored this line. The new spirit is made in China so that Weber could actually reduce the price (last year's equivalent model ran around $500USD).
You will be able to find this grill virtually everywhere for around $320USD.
The Weber Spirit E-210 has two 13,000 BTU stainless steel burners under two porcelain coated steel cooking grates. The grease management system of this grill reduces flare-ups and the firebox design gives you a very even heat (though it tends to be a little hotter on the left side). Ignition is from a push button, piezoelectric igniter which shouldn't clog anytime soon.
Weber ranks amongst the best grills on the market and you pay for that quality and the 24/7 support. This is a basic grill that won't give you a lot of versatility but it will give you dependable performance for many years to come and with a good warranty, you'll be able to keep it fixed up and working like new long than most grill last.

Weber Genesis gas grills are among the most popular grills in the world. The Genesis II series offers well-built gas grills at an affordable price point. I love that these grills are available in several colors to fit anyone's taste, and are available in 2,3,4, or 6 burners models. The grill features an open cart design with bottom shelf that makes access to storage easy. The Genesis II also saves you valuable storage space with its propane tank storage area, located under the right side shelf, which allows you to connect and mount your propane tank underneath the side shelf. The tank mount features a handy gauge which allows you to monitor your fuel level.
The tried and true Weber Cooking System is great at providing even heat distribution and minimizing flare ups. The Genesis II features porcelain-enameled cast iron cooking grids that have notches cut out towards the front, allowing you to easily see whether each burner is lit. The grill also has a tuck-away warming rack, providing you with an additional 198-inches of cooking space when you need it. Under the grids lies the triangular-shaped Flavorizer Bars that sit directly above the burners. These shield the burners by catching drippings and turning them into smoke, adding flavor back into your food. Weber pioneered the Flavorizer Bar in 1984, and since then they've proven to do their job extremely well, which is why they're still preventing flare-ups on all Weber gas grills today!
The Genesis II is powered by stainless steel burners that get narrower towards the back of the grill. Since most grills get hotter towards the back side of the grill, this reduces that heat, producing a more consistent heat across the cooking surface. The burners are lit by a reliable push button electronic ignition and produce around 12,000 BTUs per burner.
With over 50 years in business, Weber customer service is as good as it gets. They have a 10 year warranty on the grill body and on the burners. They have reputable service and quickly handle any service or replacement part situations.
The Weber Genesis II does not score well for high heat due to a low maximum BTU output, when compared to other grills in the same class. Additionally, the porcelain-coated grates and Flavorizer Bars are not as durable compared to stainless components found on other grills, like the Genesis II Special Edition or the Genesis II LX.
