Na, das verspricht doch viele Jahre an spaßigen Grill-Parties mit noch viel mehr saftigen Steaks, Würstchen & Co.. Dank dem im Deckel integrierten Thermometer hat man die Temperatur stets bestens im Blick und kann ggf. mit dem isolierten Lüftungsschieber nachbessern.

Dieses Modell mit verchromten Klappgrillrost verfügt zudem über einen extra großen Aschetopf, welcher nach dem Grillvorgang praktischerweise abgenommen werden kann. Das One-Touch-Reinigungssystem sorgt ebenso für den insgesamt pflegeleichten Gebrauch dieses Grills von Weber.

85 % aller Kunden vergeben 4, viel häufiger jedoch 5 Sterne an den Kugelgrill. Der ein oder andere von ihnen hat sich natürlich schon gefragt, ob dieser Grill denn auch seinen stattlichen Preis wert ist. Und das ist er anscheinend! „Der Grill ist einfach perfekt durchdacht“, befindet nicht nur einer der Kunden.

Zunächst einmal heimst sich die stattliche Größe, dank derer man laut Angaben eines Bewerters auch mal locker bis zu 15 Personen becatern kann, viel Lob ein. Der Grillvorgang selbst scheint allen Besitzern viel Freude zu bereiten und ein begeisterter Kunde kommentiert diesen wie folgt: „Ich habe noch nie so wenig Arbeit selber machen müssen, wie mit diesem genialen Teil“. Lecker schmecken tut es zudem obendrein.

Das Grillgut ist nämlich „schön braun, saftig und durch“, so ein weiteres Zitat. „Zudem hagelt es von den „Gut-Bewertern“ viel Lob für die gute, solide Verarbeitung und den leichten Aufbau. Einen Zusatzpunkt gibt es für die „lohnenswerte“ Anzündhilfe, die im Lieferumfang mit enthalten ist.

1 bis 3 Sterne gibt es ganz ausgewogen von rund 15 % aller Bewerter. Einer von ihnen bezeichnet diesen Holzkohlegrill als nichts weiter als „eine teure Enttäuschung“. Zunächst einmal bemängelt dieser Kunde die Konstruktion an sich. Diese ist auf „simpelsten Verkleidungen aufgebaut“ und bietet dem Grill keinen wirklich sicheren Stand.

Die Beine werden leider nicht angeschraubt, sondern einfach nur in die Kugel hineingesteckt. Beine aus etwa 1 mm dickem Alublech? Die sind ungefähr „so stabil wie Zahnstocher“, so dieser Kunde im Originalton weiter. Auch ein anderer Besitzer dieses Modells befindet, dass „Qualität anders ist“ und schließt sich den Kritikpunkten seines Vorredners im Bezug auf die Verarbeitung an.

Zwar funktioniert das Grillen mit diesem Modell recht gut, doch an den Kohlekörben hat sich dieser besagte Kunde gleich mehrfach die Finger lädiert. Kein Wunder bei der schlechten Verarbeitung! „Kaputt nach nur drei Monaten“: Das hat ein weiterer enttäuschter Kunde erleben müssen.

Zwar fand auch er, dass man mit diesem Modell von Weber an sich gut Grillen kann, doch so eine minderwertige Qualität kommt ihm definitiv nicht mehr ins Haus. Dem schließen sich noch andere „Schlecht-Bewerter“ an. Sie wollen mit so einer „lieblosen Billigproduktion“ (Originalton eines Kunden!) anscheinend auch keine Grillpartys (mehr) bestreiten.

4,5 Bewertungssterne im Durchschnitt. Rund 15 % aller Kunden finden, dass der Gartengrill seinen stattlichen Preis nicht wert ist. Dafür ist die Qualität einfach zu minderwertig! Beine aus nur 1 mm dickem Alublech, die lediglich in die Kugel hineingesteckt werden… Kohlekörbe, an denen man sich die Finger lädiert und noch vieles mehr wird von den „Schlecht-Bewertern“ in puncto Verarbeitung bemängelt.

Zudem steht dieser Grill von Weber auf wackligen Beinen und das kann man durchaus wörtlich nehmen! 85 % aller Besitzer dieses Modells stimmen dem jedoch nicht zu und sind der Meinung, dass dieser Campinggrill sehr wohl hochwertig verarbeitet ist. Schnell aufgebaut, leistet er super Dienste – ist großzügig genug bemessen um auch bis zu ca. 15 Personen mit leckeren Steaks und Würstchen zu versorgen und garantiert dank des saftigen und äußerst leckeren Grillguts, dass die Gäste auch gerne immer wiederkommen.

Das sind doch wahrlich gute Gründe sich für den Weber One-Touch Premium 57 cm Kugelgrill zu entscheiden.

Order before 11am on weekdays for next day delivery. Large BBQs may take 3-4 working days. This is not guaranteed during bank holidays or over the Christmas period.

Orders containing gas bottles will receive the gas delivery separately due to gas transportation restrictions.

We aim to deliver gas cylinders within 2-3 working days by your local Calor stockist, the details of which will be provided in your order confirmation email following the purchase.

Please have any empty gas bottles available for exchange if applicable. Any order without a gas bottle to exchange is subject to a cylinder refill agreement prior to delivery.

Cylinder refill agreement

When buying a gas bottle from us for the first time, you’ll be subject to a new cylinder refill agreement costing from £29.99, depending which of the five groups your gas bottle is in. If you do not have a gas bottle to exchange, this cost will be automatically added to your order when you checkout. The charge will be added for each bottle you purchase without an empty counterpart to exchange or if the bottle is not within the same group as your previous policy. More details can be found on the Gas bottle exchange policy page.

Please note: For safety reasons, we are unable to deliver gas bottles to basement properties, residences above a 3rd floor or any residences in buildings with 5 floors or more.

Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty.

Refill and returns

When you buy a gas cylinder from us, you’ll be asked to pay for and agree to the Calor Cylinder Refill Agreement which legally states that the cylinder always remains the property of Calor Gas. When it’s empty, you can simply exchange it for a pre-filled cylinder within the same category group, details of which can be found below.

If however, you don’t want another cylinder, you can simply return the empty one in good condition and receive a partial refund on the cost of the refill agreement, which is worked out on a sliding scale.

Full details of the Cylinder Refill Agreement can be found below so please spend a few minutes familiarising yourself with it to make sure that you understand exactly what the agreement covers and that you’re happy with the terms.

Cylinder Refill Agreement

This is the legal bit for the cylinder refill and returns process. Please familarise yourself with this when purchasing a Calor gas cylinder, to ensure you understand the agreement fully.

Cylinder Refill Agreement terms

In these conditions, “Company” means Calor Gas Limited, and “CALOR Outlet” means any CALOR Centers, Dealers, Retailers, Stockists or other supply points approved by the Company. “CALOR” is the Registered Trademark of Calor Gas Limited. “Refill Agreement Charge” means the Refill Agreement Charge included in your order or where you are exchanging a cylinder this refers to the charge previously paid for the first issue of the cylinder(s). “User” means the customer named on the online order form who is party to a Cylinder Refill Agreement (“the Agreement”).

1. Purpose of the Refill Agreement Charge

In consideration for the Refill Agreement Charge, the Company agrees to refill the Calor Cylinder(s) (“Cylinder(s)”) included in your order with supplies of CALOR gas (“Gas”) during the currency of this Agreement. The Company will fulfill its obligation to refill the Cylinder by providing the User with a pre-filled Cylinder in exchange for the empty Cylinder, but reserves the right to refill the Cylinder by any other means. A Cylinder(s) can only be exchanged for a similar replacement refill Cylinder(s) within the same category as the current Cylinder(s), otherwise a new Agreement is required. Please see our exchange policy for further details about exchanging Cylinder(s).

2. Future supplies of Gas

In entering into this Agreement the User also understands that he/she will pay additional sums at the prevailing rate for the Gas contained in the Cylinder and for all future supplies of Gas as and when the Cylinder is refilled in accordance with paragraph 1.

3. Cylinders remain the property of the Company at all times and may only be filled by the Company

The company makes the cylinder(s) available to the user as a means of safely transporting and storing the gas supplied. This agreement is not a rental agreement and it does not provide the user with title in the cylinder. The user will not part with possession or control of the cylinder(s) (other than to a CALOR outlet) nor claim to have any rights that conflict with this agreement, nor create or purport or attempt to create any agency or bailment in relation to the cylinder(s) or to the user’s obligations.

4. Use of Cylinders

Cylinders may be used only as a container for Gas and not be sold, exchanged (other than for the Purpose of the Agreement), hired, assigned, transferred, mortgaged, lent, abandoned, nor damaged, decanted, filled or tampered with.

5. The Company’s rights over the Cylinders

The User is liable for the safe storage and use of Cylinder(s) and the safety of any equipment used with them but the Company may inspect or test Cylinder(s) and any fittings used with them at any time and remove and replace Cylinder(s) if defective, or for any other reason, but without the Company being under any obligation to do so. In any case of wilful damage or breach of this Agreement the Company may repossess Cylinder(s) immediately and the User by entering into this Agreement irrevocably authorises the Company or their agent to enter on the User’s property for these purposes and in that event this Agreement is terminated. The Company may charge the User for loss of use of a Cylinder, in the event of loss or damage to the Cylinder but this charge shall not give the User any rights in the Cylinder. Unless the Company, at its discretion, decides otherwise, the User will forfeit any rights or benefits conferred upon this by this Agreement.

6. Statutory obligations

The Company will comply with all statutory and appropriate Code of Practice requirements in respect of Cylinders but this shall not mean that the Company has any obligation to maintain in good condition Cylinders which ate in the User’s possession.

7. Termination by the User

This Agreement remains in force for 50 years. The User may terminate this Agreement by returning the Cylinder(s) in good order to a CALOR Outlet nominated for this purpose and shall be entitled on presenting this Agreement to a refund of a proportion of the Refill Agreement Charge as follows:

This Agreement may be terminated by the Company in the event of any act of insolvency or breach of this Agreement on the part of the User.

9. Delivery

Where a Cylinder is to be delivered to the User the Company may use an agent for this purpose.

This Agreement is governed by and constructed in accordance with English Law. VAT and any other applicable taxes will be charged at the appropriate rates.

Cylinder exchange policy

The handy diagram below is to help you understand which gas bottles you are eligible to exchange for your empty one. It is free of charge, if you already have a Cylinder Refill Agreement.

There are six gas bottle groups as shown below. You can exchange a gas bottle within the group, without having to pay for an extra Cylinder Refill Agreement. If you wish to exchange your gas bottle, for a bottle in another group, then your purchase will be subject to an extra Cylinder Refill Agreement at an additional cost shown in table below. To exchange a gas bottle online, please visit the gas bottle section of our online shop and your local Calor stockist will deliver your order, direct to your door.

Refill agreement costs

If a customer wishes to obtain a cylinder from another group they must take out an additional cylinder agreement at an additional cost, shown in the table below. Should a customer require a partial refund on the Calor owned cylinder currently in their possession they must contact Calor Gas Direct on 0800 662 663.

Wer während des Grillvorgangs Hand anlegen muss, ist dank des hitzeresistenten Deckelgriffs und der verlängerten Duroplastgriffe jederzeit auf der sicheren Seite. Deckel und Kessel sind bei diesem Modell im Übrigen mit Porzellanemaille überzogen. Wenn das noch nicht beeindruckt, dann tut es vielleicht das One-Touch-Reinigungssystem mit Aluminiumbeschichtung: lieber genießen, als mühsam und lange einen Grillrost zu schrubben, oder?

82 % aller Kunden vergeben überwiegend 5, jedoch auch hier und da nur 4 Sterne. Für viele von ihnen ist dieser Holzkohlegrill „besser als erwartet“, so einer der Grill-Fans wörtlich. „Schon beim Aufbau bemerkte man die Qualität“, fügt er zufrieden hinzu und dieser Meinung sind auch noch viele andere der Bewerter. Während einer von ihnen bei seinen Vorgängermodellen mit Grillgut zwischen „halbroh und Briketts“ zu kämpfen hatte, ist er in dieser Hinsicht mit dem Weber One-Touch mehr als zufrieden!

Egal ob halbe Truthähne, Lammkeulen, Fisch oder Gemüse, wie z.B. Tomaten, Maiskolben etc.: Dieser Grill bereitet alles richtig lecker zu und „schlägt alles Dagewesene“, so der besagte Kunde sichtlich begeistert. Auch im Bezug auf die Reinigung zeigt sich die Kundschaft allgemein sehr zufrieden.

Geht super leicht – vor allem, wenn man den Tipp eines Grill-Fans befolgt: Grillrost über Nacht einfach in nasses Zeitungspapier wickeln. Dann machen sich auch hartnäckige Verkrustungen bei diesem Modell ganz schnell von dannen. Und der Zusammenbau? War „leicht und schnell erledigt“, freut sich nicht nur einer der „Gut-Bewerter“.

18 % der Kundschaft findet leider kein Gefallen Holzkohle-Kugelgrill, was in 1-, 2- oder maximal 3 Sterne-Bewertungen resultiert. „Jeder Tankstellen-Grill ist besser“, fasst ein arg enttäuschter Kunde seine Erfahrung zusammen. Mit 3 Kilo Kohle von Weber gerade mal 250 Grad über 15 Minuten. Danach fiel die Temperatur dann kontinuierlich ab und nach etwa 30 Minuten war dann komplett Schicht im Schacht – trotz aller am Lüfter ausprobierten Einstellungen.

Das ist Prädikat „unbrauchbar“ und landet mit einem Wurf auf dem unbebauten Nachbar-Grundstück! Andere „Schlecht-Bewerter“ zeigen sich eher in puncto Verarbeitung von Anfang an unzufrieden. „Gesamtaufbau schlecht, Funktionalität und Stabilität enttäuschend“, fasst einer der Kunden knapp zusammen. Außer teurer Deko kann man hier wohl nix erwarten!

Ein anderer Kunde erhielt ein zerkratztes Modell an dessen Bein ein Stopfen fehlte. Zudem war der Griff verbogen. Logisch: So etwas bewertet man nicht gut!

Ein anderer Grill-Fan bemängelt den fehlenden Ascheauffangbehälter. Geht beim Grillen ein Windchen, weht es die Asche über die ganze Terrasse! Zudem hat dieses Modell keinen Deckelhalter. Wohin also mit diesem klobigen, heißen Teil?

4 Bewertungssterne im Durchschnitt. 18 % aller Kunden zeigen sich mit der allgemeinen Stabilität und Verarbeitung, sowie den fehlenden Attributen, wie einem Ascheauffangbehälter und einem Deckelhalter unzufrieden. Bei einem der Kunden wollte es trotz unterschiedlich eingestellter Luftzufuhr leider so rein gar nicht mit einer längerfristigen Wärmespeicherung klappen.

Alle anderen Kunden zeigen sich von diesem „genialen Teil“ von Grill jedoch ganz angetan. Die gute Qualität merkt man schon beim Aufbau, der in nur wenigen Minuten über die Bühne geht. Einmal aufgebaut, geht es dann ans Grillen und egal was man auflegt: Alles wird knusprig, saftig und ganz nach Wunsch durchgebraten. Ein Extra-Lob also an das phänomenale Grillgut-Ergebnis!
